This is a wedding photo that has been treasured for a hundred years, with infinite love

Yesterday, the "real accumulation" - 2021 cultural relics collection results press conference and boutique exhibition was held in a major memorial hall of the Communist Party of China. In the past year, a major memorial hall of the Communist Party of China has collected more than 1,500 pieces of various collections, and more than 250 pieces (sets) have been selected from them to participate in the cultural relics appraisal meeting. This "Real Accumulation" activity is to select 50 pieces of cultural relics from the 173 cultural relics identified as cultural relics for display and release to the public. The 50 cultural relics on display this time include Li Dazhao's "Essentials of Historiography" in 1926, Edgar Snow's English edition of "The Red Star Shines on China (Journey to the West)" published by victory glantz company in London in October 1937, Comrade Li Sheng's notice of approval to join the Party in 1952, and various versions of the "Communist Manifesto" and so on. Among them, the original wedding photos of Li Hanjun and Chen Jingzhu, deputies to a major congress of the Communist Party of China, cherished nearly a hundred years of deep affection - in the spring of 1923, Li Hanjun, who was teaching sociology at Wuchang Higher Normal School (now Wuhan University), was introduced by Wan Shengyang (a member of the League, who served as the mayor of Hankou City in 1931) to marry Wan Shengyang's aunt Chen Jingzhu, and the two had a very good relationship after marriage. After the "April 12" counter-revolutionary coup, Li Hanjun, in his capacity as director of the Education Department of the Hubei Provincial Party Department of the Kuomintang and minister of youth, protected a large number of Communist Party members and members of the Communist Youth League whose identities had not yet been revealed. On December 17, Li Hanjun was arrested by the Gui warlords in front of Chen Jingzhu and killed that night, at the age of 37. When Li Hanjun died, Chen Jingzhu was pregnant, and Li Sheng was born 20 days later. Chen Jingzhu raised her two daughters alone and never remarried, and this photo also carries endless thoughts. Li Hanjun's grandson, Huang Jian, a retired professor at Wuhan University, presented the photo to a major memorial hall of the Communist Party of China after his mother's death last year. At the 25th cultural relics appraisal meeting of the first major memorial hall of the Communist Party of China, after the discussion of the expert group, this precious photo was rated as a second-class cultural relic. In addition, a major memorial hall of the Communist Party of China also took this activity to issue the "Notice on the Collection of a Major Memorial Hall of the Communist Party of China" to collect cultural relics for the public.
