Is transparent and colorless the normal state of gasoline? According to reports, gasoline production is generally made up of catalytic gasoline, reformed gasoline, alkylated oil and so on. The normal color is pale yellow or yellowish green, and there are also a small number of gasoline because gasoline produced without a catalytic device is colorless. Therefore, pale yellow, pale yellowish green and colorless are normal gasoline colors, and the properties of gasoline cannot be determined by color. Oil testing and oil standards are established and unified, and the difference in color does not indicate the quality.
According to the national standard for vehicle gasoline issued and implemented by the National Standardization Administration on December 23, 2016, the technical requirements for the appearance of gasoline are only free of mechanical impurities and moisture, and there is no color indicator.
