Yesterday, Huawei issued an announcement on the current duty of the rotating chairman.
According to Huawei's rotating chairmanship system, Hu Houkun will be the rotating chairman from April 1, 2022 to September 30, 2022. The Rotating Chairman is the supreme leader of the Company during his current duties and presides over the Board of Directors and the Standing Committee of the Board of Directors.

He is currently the Vice Chairman of Huawei, the Rotating Chairman, a member of the Company's Standing Board of Directors, and the Chairman of the Global Cybersecurity and User Privacy Protection Committee. With more than 30 years of experience in the ICT industry, he has played an important role in Huawei's strategic direction formulation and global market expansion.
Houkun Hu joined Huawei in 1990 and has served as President of the Company's China Market Division, President of the Latin America Region, President of the Global Sales Department, Chairman of Huawei USA, President of Sales and Service, and President of Strategy & Marketing. In this process, it has helped Huawei establish a global sales and service network and played a key role in promoting Huawei's globalization.
From October 2011 to March 2018, he served as Huawei's rotating CEO, responsible for the company's continuous business development and internal management optimization. He was the Director of Huawei's Human Resource Management Committee, responsible for the company's leadership and organizational development.
Over the years, it has actively promoted connectivity, inclusive growth and social progress through technological innovation. He is currently a representative of the APEC Business Advisory Council and a member of the International Business Council of the World Economic Forum and the Working Committee of the Digital Communications Industry.
