The event was hosted by the Water Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sports of the People's Republic of China, the Henan Provincial Sports Bureau, the Provincial Sports Federation, and the Sanmenxia Municipal People's Government, and undertaken by the Sanmenxia Sports Bureau and the Shaanzhou District Government. The competition covers men's and women's individual races, individual 200-meter sprint races, 200-meter bodyboard paddling races, 8-kilometer races, team 200-meter relays, 200-meter dragon board races and other events, providing a platform for paddleboarders to hit the Yellow River and curb flyboarding.
