Players playing Avengers on PS5 may have experienced a game crash over the past few days. Today, the authorities have given a temporary solution - resetting the progress of the campaign.
The development team said on Twitter that while they are still "constantly investigating the issue that caused some PS5 players to crash," they are "already working on a fix" and are currently testing it. They also offer a workaround: players can reset their campaign progress and force the game to close when they reach the Lady Marvel section of A-Day before continuing.
While this won't rescale character levels and equipment, many players may wait for the patch being tested, given the time and cost.
This workaround has also been ridiculed by some people. Foreign media Kotaku laughed and called this method very "Avengers", a way to "sacrifice myself to save the world"; a netizen joked that this is an advanced technology called "reinstalling the game"; and some netizens said: "The reason I want to open this game is that I can continue to play half the progress..."
After the launch of Spider-Man, The Avengers have not yet released any new characters, and it is not known where the service game will eventually go.
