Recently, Mr. Hu of Wuhan, Hubei Province, reported to the surging quality report complaint platform (https://tousu.thepaper.cn) that he placed a single Skyworth 75-inch LCD TV in the official flagship store of Tmall Skyworth during the Double Eleven last year. When the TV was delivered to the door, because the home was still being renovated, there was no electricity for the time being, so it was signed for without a test. However, when installing the TV recently, it was found that the internal screen of the TV was damaged.

Mr. Hu said that he contacted Skyworth customer service and was told that as long as he signed for the receipt, whether he tried the machine or not, it was regarded as confirming the receipt, and the loss was borne by the consumer.

On March 22, The Paper received a complaint from Mr. Hu about his involvement in the matter. On the 25th, DaydayShun Logistics Company, which is responsible for distributing televisions, said that it has reached a preliminary agreement with consumers and will determine specific solutions in the near future.

Consumer Complaints:

Mr. Hu said that during the Double Eleven last year, he placed a single Skyworth 75A20 Pro75-inch LCD TV in the official flagship store of Tmall Skyworth, with a total amount of 8499 yuan. According to the screenshot of the order provided by Mr. Hu, the TV was shipped to the local logistics company on December 9, 2021.

Mr. Hu said that the house had not been renovated in December last year, but logistics frequently contacted for delivery, and he reluctantly agreed. But it is precisely because the decoration has not been completed, his home has not yet been electrified, so that the TV did not check the machine after arriving. On March 20, the decoration of the home was basically over, and he began to install the TV, but after unboxing and powering on, he found that the internal screen of the TV was damaged, and the tv had a blue screen.

Mr. Hu said that he contacted Skyworth merchants as a result, but the merchants said that although there was no trial machine, Mr. Hu had signed for it, and all responsibilities were borne by Mr. Hu himself.

Mr. Hu said that in the negotiation process with the merchant, the merchant showed the evidence provided by the logistics party. Below the receipt, a line reads "No electricity required, problems have nothing to do with logistics" and a signature. Mr. Hu denied the promise to write for himself, "As a consumer, I don't have electricity, how can I sign something like this." He hopes skyworth officials or logistics companies will be responsible for the damage to the TV.

Corporate Response:

On March 22, The Paper received a complaint from Mr. Hu about his involvement in the matter. From the 22nd to the 24th, The Paper repeatedly contacted the customer service of tmall Skyworth's official flagship store and Skyworth's national unified service hotline, but did not get an effective response.

On the 25th, the surging news contacted the daily logistics company responsible for distributing the TV, and the logistics company said that it would verify the specific situation. At noon on the same day, the logistics company said that it had basically reached an agreement with consumers and would determine specific solutions in the near future. Regarding the signing of the receipt, the logistics company said that it was indeed not signed by Mr. Hu, but was caused by the work error of the delivery master, and there was no deliberate forgery.
