A Zelda Legends fan named Harbour Masters has released his self-made ZELda Legends of Time PC port, which supports ultra-widescreen displays, keyboard operation, mod installation, and gyroscope aiming. Harbour Masters says it will also bring 60 frames, dual-stick operation, high-quality models and audio, as well as ported versions of the game on Linux and Mac.

To download this port, players need to download the software "Ship of Harkinian" in the official Discord, and then put a legally sourced Zelda Legends: Ocarina of Time N64 ROM in the software, which extracts the game's data and generates a playable native PC version.
This kind of decompilation project is theoretically legal because fans aren't using any offending game leaks or copyrighted game assets. Harbour Masters hopes that the PC port generated by this technology will keep it from being targeted by Nintendo's legal department.
Harbor Masters is now planning a PC port for The Legend of Zelda: The Mask of Mezura, and the game is currently decompiling around 45 percent.
