Elon Musk, founder of Tesla, an American electric car company, announced that he is embarking on the third chapter of his plan to develop his tech empire.
Musk's statement was a response to a tweet by Bloomberg news writer Craig Trudell and to another Bloomberg column — written by author Dana Hall — about Elon Musk's master plan and how he failed to deliver affordable electric cars.
Musk previously announced two major plans — the first in 2006 and the second in 2016 — summing up his vision for developing electric vehicles at the time, and it's been a long time since those plans, so let's take a look back at what was in those plans at the time.
2006 Plan: "Tesla's Secret Master Plan"
In 2006, Elon Musk announced in a blog post that he had developed a master plan for his electric car company and said his long-term goal was to build a variety of models, including affordable family cars.
Explaining Tesla Motors' overall goals, Musk said he founded the company to help accelerate the transition from a mining and hydrocarbon combustion economy to a solar economy, which he believes is the primary, but not the only, sustainable solution.

Plan for 2016: "Master Plan, Chapter 2"
Musk released his second masterplan in 2016, and he — in a blog post — explained that his first masterplan used all the money he made from the online payment company PayPal, one of the company's founders.
As for the second chapter of his master plan, he has improved his ability to achieve a sustainable energy economy to prevent urban systems from collapsing when fossil fuels run out.
He founded SolarCity and Powerwall to solve this problem, while Tesla worked on developing two models of luxury cars and SUVs to reach a wider consumer base.
To boost production and achieve a sustainable future, Musk turned Tesla into a company that designs and manufactures machines.
Musk also aims to develop a traffic safety system and improve Tesla's Autopilot to make it about 10 times safer than the U.S. average, which kills one person per 89 million miles.
The second chapter of Musk's master plan includes developing a true self-driving system where Tesla owners will begin recalling their vehicles wherever they want.

Tesla announced "Tesla Bot," part of general ai-power technology, abbreviated as "AGI" in a tweet released last August.
As a result, observers believe that the next part of Musk's master plan involves AI-controlled robots.
But since most people have been waiting for affordable electric vehicles, and Musk has apparently failed to achieve this goal over the past 16 years, this may be a staple of his agenda.
Tesla's Cyberrock has yet to be produced and is likely to be prioritized in the third chapter.
