The opening exhibition "Me, Us" will focus on the important topic of "relationship", which is an important psychological topic from multiple dimensions such as "relatives and friends", "society" and "self", and explore the relationship between communities and neighbors.
123 Art Museum is located in the 123 Cultural and Creative Park of Shuangliu Dongsheng Street, with an exhibition area of about 400 square meters. As a non-profit community art museum, after its establishment, it will hold a variety of art exhibition activities here, so that art can serve the people and rediscover the cultural value and significance of Shuangliu Old Town with the residents of the community.
The opening exhibition "Me, We" focuses the magnifying glass of art on the staggered structure between "me" and the world, society, and community. The curatorial team collected and sorted out works based on the themes of Chengdu and Shuangliu Community, involving painting, paper cutting, photography, installation and other artistic media, in order to create some texture belonging to this land, presenting the understanding of people, intimacy and community from multiple angles and levels. At the same time, the opening exhibition is a parallel exhibition of the art X design X psychological interdisciplinary experimental art project jointly promoted by the School of Art of Sichuan University, the Art Museum of Sichuan University, the Mental Health Center of West China Hospital, and the Research Center for Art and Medical Health, which aims to explore the boundaries and overlapping boundaries of the integration of art, design and psychology in the interdisciplinary territory.
On the opening day, the 123 Creative Festival opened simultaneously, and under the large banyan tree of the 123 Cultural and Creative Courtyard, the flowing notes accompanied by the aroma of tea, the visitors could not only enjoy the exhibition, but also experience the charm of interactive art. In the art museum, paintings, wood carvings, and paper cuts are spread out in a pure white and quiet world, and the spring light and green shade outside the window are full of vitality.
As the spiritual outlet of the community, the community art museum will break the boundaries of the existing art museum, and inject new vitality into the cultural life of the community through artistic intervention and interaction while realizing the original art exhibition function.
