There is a story circulating in Hangzhou: The debater is a monk with high moral integrity. Since Shangtianzhu returned to the Hidden Longjing Temple, he made a clear rule, and the mountain gate sent guests as far as "Tiger Creek", Su Dongpo went to visit, but he did not expect that the two would immediately become good friends as soon as they saw each other. So much so that when the debater teacher sent Su Dongpo down the mountain, he unconsciously crossed the "Tiger Creek". The retinue around them all shouted and said: "Far away from the Tiger Creek." In order to commemorate this good story, people call the bridge here the bridge across the creek, and build a pavilion on the bridge called the creek pavilion. It became one of the eight scenic spots in Hangzhou Longjing. This good story was recorded by Su Dongpo in his "Second Debate Talent Rhyme Poem".
The work "The Poetry of the Second Debate" was written a year after Su Shi was released in Hangzhou. In this year, Su Shi built a north-south long causeway on the West Lake, which is the "Su Causeway" praised by posterity to this day.
Debater is also one of Dongpo's poet friends, he once wrote a poem to Su Dongpo "Longjing Xinting Chucheng Poetry Presents The House Shuai Su Hanlin", "The Second Debater Rhyme Poem" is Su Shi's poem for the sake of the debater. The work consists of two parts, the preface and the poem, the preface records the good story just described, and the poem is the main body of the whole work. This post praises the teacher of the debate, the transcendent thing, the fairy wind Dao bone, and the two elders who travel with the debater, which is a fortunate thing in life.

Since the old age is sick, the current period of recuperation. May the public return to the Temple of the Corridor and comfort the worries of the world. From the poem, it can be seen that the debater has a sympathetic attitude toward Su Dongpo's political frustration, and encourages Dongpo, "May the public return to the Langmiao Temple and comfort the world", which can be described as Dongpo's confidant.
