IT House reported on March 18 that Apple plans to soon sell a third-party security lock for Mac Studio consoles that can be locked to the bottom of Mac Studio to ensure physical protection without damaging or modifying mac Studio.
As you can see from the picture, there is a small hole in the bottom of the Mac Studio, and some netizens speculate that it may be a Kensington lock. However, the Kensington lock is large and unlikely to fit under the Mac Studio, so it could be a custom model.
According to a memo found by MacRumors, Apple said it would soon introduce a "lock adapter" that users can use to keep Mac Studio "physically secure without modification or damage."
In the memo, Apple did not provide details of pricing or availability. IT House learned that Apple had launched a $398 Belkin security lock for the Trash Can Mac Pro to prevent it from being taken away or opened inside.
However, as YouTuber MKBHD points out, there is currently no easy and straightforward way to access the interior of Mac Studio.
