Nanjing Deji Art Museum's "50 Absolute Beauty - Royal Song" exhibition of five famous kiln treasures has been open to the public since the autumn of 2021, and has been well received since its launch, and audiences from all over the country have been endless. Its publication of the same name, 50 Absolute Beauty: Royal Song, was also named the "Most Beautiful Book" in 2021 by the Shanghai Press and Publication Bureau.
"50 Absolute Beauty - Royal Song" leads the audience to delve into the most brilliant page of Chinese civilization and fully feel the beauty of the peak of Chinese porcelain. The exhibition selects 50 rare treasures fired by ru, guan, ge, Ding, Jun and Zhanggongxiang kilns, and gathers a large number of "five famous kilns" at one time, which is also rare in the world.
Different from the traditional ancient art exhibition, the "50 Absolute Beauty - Royal Song" Five Famous Kiln Treasures Exhibition uses contemporary curatorial concepts to extract the ideas and spiritual cores of contemporary value such as "Gewu Zhizhi" and "Taoist Nature" contained in Chinese porcelain art, combined with contemporary context and artistic deconstruction techniques, so that the ideological concepts and cultural genes that have been inherited for thousands of years can be presented through the curatorial language of the art museum, in order to resonate with the current audience's spiritual world.
The exhibition brings together 50 pieces of rare porcelain from Ru kiln, guan kiln, Ge kiln, Ding kiln, Jun kiln and ZhangGongxiang kiln, and strives to show the brilliant achievements of Chinese porcelain art at the same time, relying on the definition and induction of beauty in traditional Chinese culture, using contemporary curatorial concepts, and presenting the cultural genes contained in the "five famous kilns" that have been inherited for thousands of years through the new expression of the art museum, expounding the artistic phenomenon of Chinese art and China's connection with the world. It is reported that in order to meet the needs of more audiences, the "50 Absolute Beauty - Royal Song" Five Famous Kiln Treasures Exhibition will be postponed to April 5, 2022.
