The Taiwan issue, born of the United States' global maritime hegemony, is very different from the Ukrainian issue
Recently, the distinction between the Ukrainian issue and the Taiwan issue has led to official clarification.
In fact, the difference between the two is obvious.
The Taiwan issue is a maritime issue, which has been artificially concocted because it is beneficial to the United States in establishing a blockade line with China in the Asia-Pacific region; the Ukrainian issue is a land issue, which belongs to the historical issue of Europe that has continued since ancient times.
The issue of maritime sovereignty began with modern states, so behind the Taiwan issue is the ambition of the United States to try to control the global seas in modern times. More deeply, it is a means for the United States to seize global strategic priorities.

The Ukrainian issue, however, is only concocted by the United States to contain Russia, and is a tactical-level means of suppressing the opponent.
With China's strong rise today, if the United States can suppress China from land, it will certainly concoct a "Ukraine" in the Asia-Pacific region.
But in the entire land outer zone of China, the United States cannot find such a place.
To the north of China is Russia, which has long been friendly; in the east of China, it is the DPRK, which joins hands with China to resist the United States; and in the west of China, there is Pakistan, which has contained India for China.
As far as China's neighbors are concerned, India and South Korea, which the United States can mobilize, are monitored by Chinese allies.

The Gulf states in the Middle East and Iran are inseparable, but they have maintained a friendly attitude toward China for a long time.
Farther away, Africa, the Red Sea, the Mediterranean, in recent years, has also been a place where Chinese companies have stepped in.
A "Red Sea Action" actually shows the extraordinary influence of contemporary China on the world. This kind of influence is different from the control and influence of the United States, but it is mutually beneficial and win-win, so it is more vital and more cherished by all countries in the world.
Trying to exert influence on China from land is objectively impossible for the United States to do.
Then the United States can only restrain China from the western Pacific Ocean in southern China.
In the western Pacific Ocean, China's bridgehead and direct buffer zone is Taiwan Island.

The Taiwan issue has been interfered with by the United States, and the root cause is that the United States tries to "save face" when it is obstructed.
Direct military control over the island of Taiwan is impossible to obtain China's consent.
So since the end of World War II, americans have given up on this idea.
But for historical reasons, the ready-made proxy regime awaited the arrival of the United States on the island of Taiwan.
Relying on its infidelity with the Taiwan independence forces, the United States successfully spread its tentacles to China's direct buffer zone, and then influenced a number of small Southeast Asian countries in the western Pacific region in an attempt to achieve a conspiracy to blockade China on the sea.
China's internal affairs have become the "lever" for the United States to carry out global hegemony.
This process had stalled slightly with the end of the cold war.

However, in recent years, as the Anti-globalization ideology of the United States has become more and more intense and the importance attached to the Indo-Pacific strategy has skyrocketed, the Taiwan issue has been put back on the table of Us politicians.
Under the leadership of the United States, Western countries such as Britain, France, Australia and Canada have successively joined the Indo-Pacific layout. Objectively speaking, the United States has taken a wave of rhythm and directly broken the excellent situation between the two sides of the strait.
The great cause of cross-strait reunification, which was originally thriving, was almost on the verge of regression under the ulterior motives of the United States.
However, because the United States cannot achieve comprehensive "control" over the situation in the Asia-Pacific region, its desire to provoke Taiwan independence itself is stronger than ever.
Judging from the current situation in the Asia-Pacific region, at the level of the international system, Taiwan's greatest role in the West is to act as a "lever" to stifle China.
However, the containment of China has become unattractive in the current era, and the blockade of China that can only be achieved by the island of Taiwan may not have much effect, so in addition to the Great Interest of the United States, the Western society is not very interested in it.

Because among the major countries that are now laying out the Asia-Pacific region, the united States' right to speak is also experiencing challenges.
Although the OAKUS Defense Alliance, which is dominated by the United States, britain and Australia, has established the United States, the United States seems to be in the limelight in the Indo-Pacific region. But in fact, in recent years, the UK and Australia have increasingly become regional countries that lack strategic autonomy.
Because of Brexit, the United Kingdom is in urgent need of finding its own position in the world, so it is particularly dependent on the United States and obedient to its words; while Australia, because of the pro-Western principles of its traditional political thinking, is also obedient to the United States.
Therefore, the United States, Britain and Australia can only represent the United States as a country.
France, which followed the Indo-Pacific layout, did not wear the same pair of pants as the United States.

In principle, France is still pro-American in general, but the French government, which is eager to go out of its own way, will not listen to the United States in practice.
This alliance of spiritual support has given the United States a sense of crisis.
Therefore, the ruling party of the United States is now eager to create public opinion, create tension in the Taiwan Strait, increase the needs of neighboring countries for themselves, and win an opportunity for themselves to "save the United States as a hero."
The current Taiwan issue is essentially due to the obstruction that the United States has been hindered at all levels. The more the United States is hindered, the more it wants to highlight its own righteousness, and even does not hesitate to fabricate a crisis and win a sense of vanity for itself under the guise of "heroes saving the United States."
