Recently, we obtained the declaration map of BYD frigate 07 from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The Frigate 07 is the first SUV model in BYD's Marine Network warship series, and combined with previous reports, the new car is expected to be officially launched in the first half of the year.
The Frigate 07 is a production version of the X DREAM concept car unveiled at the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show. From the outside, the new car largely restores the design of the concept car, with a large air intake grille on the front face and a banner chrome-plated structure inside. The "BYD" logo is embedded in the upper transverse decorative strip and connected to the headlights on the left and right sides.
The side lines of the body are smooth, and the sharp waist line runs through the entire body, making the body more prominent. The design of the rear of the car is more concise, and the internal structure of the through-type taillights is more similar to that of the new BYD Han, which is very exquisite. The lower enclosure was also decorated with silver chrome, adding layering to the rear. In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4820*1920*1750mm, a wheelbase of 2820mm, and positions a mid-size SUV.
In terms of power, according to the declaration information, the frigate 07 will be equipped with BYD DM-i plug-in hybrid system, and the maximum power of the 1.5L engine is 102kW. According to the information previously exposed, the pure electric mileage of the new car is expected to exceed 200km, and the acceleration time of 0-100km/h is 4.7 seconds.
