With the continuous increase in car ownership and the rapid growth of new energy vehicles, some authoritative institutions predict that the market size of portable compression refrigerators and portable charging guns in the mainland will reach 100 billion yuan in the next 5 years.
Behind the market prosperity, there are still many pain points in the vehicle electrical appliance market. According to relevant surveys, the concentration of brands in the industry is not high, large and small brands are blooming everywhere, and product quality problems such as uncooled vehicle refrigerators, spontaneous combustion of vehicle refrigerators, charging guns that cannot be charged, and spontaneous combustion of charging guns are emerging in an endless stream. Standard: Two group standards for vehicle electrical appliances have been approved

At the seminar, Li Jin, executive deputy director of the Standardization Innovation Base, announced that after the study of the China Consumer Goods Quality and Safety Promotion Association, the two group standards of "Automotive Electrical Products Part 1: Portable Compression Car Refrigerator" and "Vehicle Electrical Products Part 2: Portable Charging Gun" jointly declared by CVC and relevant enterprises in the industry have been officially approved on March 10.

Li Tie introduced that for the performance requirements and test methods of portable compressor car refrigerators in vibration and high temperature environments, domestic and foreign countries are still in a blank state, and there is no mandatory national standard. Because of the lack of standards, the quality of products in the industry is uneven, the temperature does not meet the needs of users, and quality problems such as fire and electric shock occur frequently.

For example, in terms of safety requirements, how to evaluate the heating and structure of portable compression car refrigerators at high temperatures and vibration conditions? In terms of performance requirements, how to evaluate the cooling of portable compression car refrigerators under high temperature and vibration conditions, and the temperature values in the box are consistent with the set temperature? In terms of high quality requirements, how to evaluate the functional characteristics of portable compression car refrigerators in sterilization, virus removal and freshness preservation?

In terms of portable charging guns, Lu Guowei, assistant general manager of CVC Weikai Electromechanical and Equipment Division, pointed out that the current charging equipment standards cover the entire category of charging piles and non-vehicle chargers, and lack the standards for the grid adaptability, environmental reliability, weather-resistant environmental performance functions, durability and other tests of portable charging guns for subdivided products. The group standard of "Vehicle Electrical Products Part 2: Portable Charging Gun" led by CVC Weikai mainly assesses five aspects: power grid adaptability, safety protection function, environmental adaptability, periodic current carrying test, and energy saving requirements.
Next, CVC will conduct professional testing of portable compression refrigerators and portable charging gun products sent for inspection, combined with the test results and according to the special requirements of the automotive industry, as soon as possible to develop group standards for the on-board electrical appliance industry.

Because the lack of product standards leads to a mixed market, consumers cannot distinguish the advantages and disadvantages of products, resulting in a bad consumer experience.

In addition, there are many consumers who report problems about charging interruptions.
