Seagate partnered with Lucasfilm to design a series of Mandalorian-linked SSDs based on the Baska Ingot, the raw material for The Mandalorian armor. If you don't mind these "steel ingots" stamped with the Galactic Empire logo, these devices are certainly the best choice for Star Wars fans.
This series of linkage SSDs is available in three types: external hard drives, M.2 NVMe and SATA interface design. The design of the shell is based on the Bascard ingot from the first season of The Mandalorian, even including the mark of the Galactic Empire.
The so-called Baska Steel is a super metal from Star Wars used to craft the armor of the Mandalorians, which can withstand the attacks of lightsabers and explosive guns. After the rise of the Empire plundered all the besca steels of chance.
The Mandalorian linkage drive is available in three form factors. The M.2 NVMe version is actually the Seagate FireCuda 530 with sequential read/write speeds of up to 7300/6000MB/s. The linkage NVMe version has two capacities, 1TB and 500GB, with retail prices of 273 US dollars (about 1729 yuan) and 168 US dollars (about 1064 yuan).
If the motherboard does not have an M.2 slot, a 2.5-inch SATA SSD with a capacity of up to 2TB can also be opted for. The SATA version is available in 1TB and 2TB models, priced at US$168 (about 11,064 yuan) and US$284 (about 1571 yuan) respectively.
Alternatively, Seagate offers an external USB hard drive with elegant LEDs, which is also 2TB of capacity, and the external model costs $130 (about 823 yuan).
