Will the Russian-Ukrainian military conflict worsen? From a military strategic point of view, I suspect that if Russia captures Zhytomyr, Ukraine may lose confidence in the battle.

At the end of World War II, the Red Army launched a series of winter offensives to liberate western Ukraine occupied by Deko. There is still no substantive progress in the Russian-Ukrainian foreign ministers' talks, and if Russia completely occupies Zhytomyr and other military strategic and transportation hubs, or completely destroys the military forces in Ukraine, Ukraine may be truly dead-hearted. In this way, Russia's goal of "de-militarization and Nazismization" will also be realized. Only then may the two sides sit down and talk seriously, or the war may cease.
However, the Russian-Ukrainian War, for Ukraine, is either "winning" and finally being controlled by the Western world; or "losing" and falling into a long period of recovery.
For Russia, although the hard ground is to the United States's "bottom line test". But for Russia, whether it wins or loses, it will suffer economic damage, face the threat of Germany's increased power, and face the threat of being isolated or provoked again by the Western world, and the throne of a first-class power may not be guaranteed.
