The OnePlus Nord series is expanding steadily around the world and in India. The company launched the OnePlus Nord 2 last June, and last month launched a cheaper alternative to the Nord CE 2 5G. However, the Nord 2 series does not seem to be finished, as OnePlus is said to be developing a new OnePlus Nord 2T device. The phone is reportedly being tested in India. On March 11, The Indian Media 91mobiles brought the exterior rendering of the OnePlus Nord 2T through the renderings provided by the industry, which fully demonstrated the back design of the new machine.

The OnePlus Nord 2T back is uniquely designed with sandstone finishes and a sizable camera module. The back of the phone appears to have a black sandstone finish that dates back to the original OnePlus 1 and OnePlus 2 Sandstone Black era. The camera module features a blue matte finish. There are two rings inside the module. The top ring has a sizable main sensor, while the bottom ring is equipped with dual cameras. There are two LED cutouts next to the camera ring, which looks very unique and highly recognizable. In addition, earlier reports said the phone would come with a plastic frame.
While the front design has yet to be made public, sources say the OnePlus Nord 2T looks familiar with a punched camera in the upper left corner that can accommodate a selfie snapshotr.
At present, some specifications of the OnePlus Nord 2T have been leaked online. It is said to come with a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with punched cutouts, 2400× 1080 pixel resolution, narrow bezels, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is equipped with MediaTek Tianji 1300 chip. The chipset is said to work with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, potentially running Android 12-based OxygenOS 12 systems.
Rumor has it that the OnePlus Nord 2T will come with a 4500mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC charging. The back of the phone will be equipped with three cameras, including a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel lens. The front features a 32MP selfie lens.
According to earlier reports, the release time of the OnePlus Nord 2T could be between April and May. As for the price, the price of the Nord 2T is expected to be between 30,000-40,000 rupees (about 2,500 yuan-3,300 yuan). Although, the standard version may be less than Rs 30,000.
