Recently, the Russian military released a photo of a Su-35S fighter, the Su-35S is the most advanced fighter air force put into Ukraine by the Russian Air and Space Force, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said that a number of Su-35S have been shot down, but did not provide accurate evidence, the Russian Defense Ministry did not respond. The photos show that the Su-35S was mounted with three R-77 active medium-range missiles, two R-73 close-range missiles and two KH-31PM anti-radiation missiles. If the Su-35S has been put into combat over Ukraine, the Su-35S fighter jet is clearly on a "clear sky" mission, attacking all detected Ukrainian fighters and ground air defense systems.
It is worth noting that the Russian Air and Space Force itself does not actually have too many R-77 active ammunition, when the Western Air Force has been fully equipped with active medium-range ammunition represented by aim-120 as early as the 90s of the last century, the Russian Air and Space Force is still using R-27 semi-active medium-range ammunition in large quantities, which to a certain extent actually narrows the gap with the Ukrainian Air Force: Ukraine can not only upgrade its own Su-27 and MiG-29 (without Russia's upgrade range), Improved R-27 missiles are also being built.
