China News Network Guangzhou, September 10 Title: "Beautiful Writer" Cai Zifen: Be the protagonist of every day of life

Author Li Ling Shen Xiaona

Cai Zifen, who was originally a kindergarten teacher, once thought that she would become a kindergarten teacher without suspense, mingling with innocent children, and her life was full of innocence and childlike fun. Unexpectedly, after winning the ninth "Beauty in The Flower City" Advertising Rising Star Competition, the 17-year-old stepped into the entertainment industry, first as a program host, an actor, and now a book, becoming a "little famous" "Cai Writer".

In an exclusive interview with reporters, Cai Zifen, who has long hair and a shawl and wears a yellow lace long dress, smiled brightly, and she said: The step she took unintentionally made her life trajectory change dramatically, and she felt magical when she thought of herself.

The turning point in Cai Zifen's life was an unplanned race. On October 28, 2001, the 9th "Beauty in Flower City" Advertising Rising Star Competition was held in Guangzhou Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. With the encouragement of friends, Cai Zifen participated with the mentality of trying. From the preliminary round, the semi-finals to the final, she sang triumphantly all the way and unexpectedly won the runner-up. "That's how I got into the business." Cai Zifen attributed all this to her good luck.

Is it really just luck? Not really. As a well-behaved girl in the family, Cai Zifen has been associated with art since she was a child. The experience of practicing accordion and dancing, joining school orchestras and dance teams, and often going out with teachers to participate in competitions is undoubtedly a kind of subtle "nourishment".

The training obtained during the beauty pageant made Cai Zifen feel that she had benefited a lot. What impressed her the most was the trip to Changbai Mountain before the final.

In the winter of 2001, Changbai Mountain was closed by heavy snow, because to shoot the tidbits broadcast in the final, 20 contestants arrived at Tianchikou in the ice and snow. The summer white suspender dress spans the seasons and flutters at the outlet of the wind, which contrasts with the appearance of this group of girls shivering in the cold wind before and after the shooting, unable to speak. "When the director shouted 'ka', the accompanying teachers rushed up with cotton coats and hugged us, poured a sip of liquor into each population, and a spicy warm current made people feel alive." Cai Zifen recalls it vividly.

This experience of Changbai Mountain has trained Cai Zifen's will, and the subsequent work will also encounter discouragement and want to give up, but she will always think, "So hard experience has survived, why give up now!" ”

Cantonese has become a roadblock

Today's Cai Zifen is the host of variety shows such as "I Love to Find The Taste" and "Who is the King of Singing" familiar to Guangzhou people; she is jia sable cicada in the "Dragon Strange Son-in-Law" series; and she is also the Lin Jiazhen of the TV series "Gaodi Street" that the neighbors in Guangzhou are familiar with.

After winning the runner-up in 2001, Cai Zifen entered Guangzhou Television. Cai Zifen, who was born in Haifeng, Shanwei, speaks Hokkien dialect, and the non-standard Cantonese language has become a hard wound when she hosts the show. Not born in a class, with almost zero experience, retired seniors in tv stations often point out shortcomings and deficiencies in each program to urge employees, and she is always on the "blacklist".

"But I can't say no to myself." Cai Zifen used "unscrupulous" to describe her process of learning Cantonese: participating in Cantonese training, holding a newspaper and reading aloud whenever she had time, reading aloud when she saw a menu sign at a restaurant... Hard work is never in vain, and soon, her Cantonese pronunciation will never be faulted again.

Pick up the writing thing back

Acting and excelling seems to be the development trajectory of many stars. But for Cai Zifen, the book was published by accident. Although she loved literature since she was a child, she also worked as a radio station manager at the school when she was a teacher, and liked to write some essays, she never wanted to be a writer.

On her trip to Italy, she is accustomed to recording her life, and she writes what she sees and hears along the way into words and posts them in the circle of friends. No, after being seen by a few friends, they suggested publishing books. In April this year, "Walking Light and Shadow——— Italian Caprice" was published in Guangzhou, and Cai Zifen had a new identity - a writer.

"I don't dare to say that it is a book, let alone call it a writer, it is just what I think on the road." When it comes to publishing books, Cai Zifen is very humble.

Through the new book launch, she donated part of the proceeds from book sales to the "Spring Rain Action" public welfare organization of the China Children's Mercy Association, and also admitted that she would do the next project and book donation activities for children in mountain areas. "In walking, who can predict that everything that will be encountered, the road traveled, the bridge traveled, the water that has been played, and the people who have met will become a beautiful scar, and the journey of life will be covered." As she said in the book, life is unpredictable, and she hopes to be the protagonist of every day of her life, work hard, and live seriously. (End)
