Li Jianxin: The dress has changed its mind and has not changed, and the residual heat on the propaganda platform has been exerted
Around July 1 this year, Li Jianxin, a 58-year-old retired veteran, was busy. "After attending the branch committee in the morning, we must hurry to give lectures to grass-roots party members and cadres." As the leader of the Guancheng Red Propaganda Team of the Dongguan Military Retirement Volunteer Service Team, Li Jianxin's class was deeply loved by the grass-roots masses, and he was invited to give lectures to the troops, organs, institutions, communities, and factories, and the activities were fully arranged.
Born in 1963, Li Jianxin joined the army at the age of 19, attended military academy three times, successively served as a soldier, cadet, platoon leader, company political instructor, organization unit chief, battalion instructor, deputy political commissar of the regiment, etc. He was repeatedly rated as "excellent grassroots cadre", "excellent officer", "advanced individual who learned from Lei Feng", etc., and was awarded the third class merit twice and the first class merit once.
Crossing the line of fire four times, determined to become a good soldier
In 1982, at the age of 19, Li Jianxin decided to join the army and take the military academy. After serving as a grassroots militiaman in his hometown for 2 years, Li Jianxin was recommended to the communications brigade of the military region for training after examination, and after returning, he served as a carrier in the general flight of the regimental headquarters.
In his spare time, he seized the time to review the culture, and finally got his wish and was admitted to the military school. Li Jianxin also clearly remembers that when he stepped into the Changsha Artillery School in August 1984, his heart was full of pride and joy. "It is the ideal that guides me all the way, inspires me, and makes me take the first step to success." Li Jianxin said.
"When I first went to military school, I felt a little difficult, I didn't catch up with the training, I didn't sleep well all night, for fear of being eliminated." Li Jianxin used all the free time available to practice the basic skills. When the team organized to watch the news broadcast, he quietly practiced eloquence with the announcer; at night, when it was his turn to stand guard, he would practice standing against the wall... After some hard work, Li Jianxin's self-confidence became stronger and stronger, and his work became better and better.
From platoon leader to battalion instructor, Li Jianxin has won many honors for his efforts since joining the army. He also insisted on self-study while working, spent 10 years, got a diploma in law, and then spent 4 years to enter the bachelor's degree in political science and engineering, and went to military school a total of 3 times.
During his enlistment in the army, Li Jianxin participated in four major firefighting operations, and the last "crossing the line of fire" was still impressive after many years.
At that time, a fire broke out in a state-run forest farm, and the group army assigned Li Jianxin's regiment to undertake this task. Li Jianxin clearly remembers that the situation in the fire scene suddenly changed that afternoon, and after receiving the order to avoid danger, he commanded everyone to retreat to the valley below, just a few tens of meters from the road, he and the company commander were choked by smoke almost at the same time, Li Jianxin's pants caught fire, and his shoes melted...
Li Jianxin was burned for fighting a fire and left disabled for life. In order to restore his function, he used the time before getting up early and going to bed to do push-ups, sit-ups, abdominal lifts and other exercises, after a long period of exercise, Li Jianxin's body gradually recovered, and his physical fitness was also maintained in a better state.
Walk on the red propaganda platform and exert the residual heat to spread positive energy
"In the past, he was busy from the armament war, and now he retires and returns to his hometown. The dress has changed its mind, and the responsibility is shouldered on the shoulders. Li Jianxin used a poem of seven laws to describe his life after retiring from the army.
In the more than ten years since his retirement, Li Jianxin has read hundreds of novels, which has significantly improved his literary level, and spent several years to complete the creation of the long novel "Peasant Children". He happily told reporters that in recent years, he has begun to learn to write poetry, and now he has written hundreds of ancient poems, grammatical poems and modern poems, and then he is ready to publish a collection of poems "Youth Without Remorse".
In order to enrich his amateur cultural life, Li Jianxin also taught himself harmonica, learned simple music and singing, actively participated in the activities of the institute, gave lectures to the community and schools, exerted his residual heat, and made his life full and meaningful.
"Looking back on the path I walked, it was actually very ordinary, and the things I did were very ordinary, and there were no vigorous scenes, just some things that should be done." Therefore, when the military retreat set up a red propaganda group and invited him to join, Li Jianxin did not hesitate to agree.
"In front of many of our veteran comrades in the military retreat, my deeds and achievements are not worth mentioning at all, but I participated in the propaganda in the hope that I could do something within my ability and do something for the sake of my old age." He said that standing on the podium is an honor and an exercise. "As a party member, as long as the organization needs, I will do my best, no matter what."
