Russian television reported that the Antonov An-225, the world's largest aircraft, had been confirmed to have been completely destroyed and turned into a pile of scrap iron.

The An-225 was shipped in 1985 and first flew in 1988, making it the largest aircraft in the world today.

This behemoth usually stops at the international cargo Khostomer Airport on the northwestern outskirts of the Ukrainian capital Kiev, also known as Antonov Airport.

The An-225 was originally intended to be used to transport spacecraft and was later used as a cargo aircraft. It is the bearer of the load record for long-range flight, and has a number of world records for take-off weight models of more than 300 tons.

It is a pity that it has now been destroyed by war. #乌克兰 #
