News on March 3, there has been some discussion about the VR headset that Apple is developing. Presumably, it will be a mixed reality headset for VR (virtual reality) and AR (augmented reality) applications. Apple has made no secret of its belief in the future of AR (augmented reality).
The Apple VR headset is expected to launch later this year. Last month, new details emerged online. Apple's mixed reality headset will reportedly be equipped with more than 12 cameras for tracking hand movements and displaying AR images. The site has seen photos of the interior of apple prototypes in advanced stages. On these basis, product renderings were made.

Graphic designer Jermaine Smit used this information to create his own youTube video animation, showing Apple's expected mixed reality headset, as shown in the picture. The product images shown in this publication were also created by Jermaine Smit. It's an advanced headset with an ultra-high resolution 8K display and advanced eye-tracking technology. Apple seems to have opted for a slim curved visor that secures it to the face with an adjustable headband.
The headband also seems to be replaceable. The straps provided will feel soft, so users can wear them on their heads for a while without problems. Apple may use different types of materials, just like you can buy different types of smartwatch straps. There is a button on the top and side of the headset. However, it is still not known what these are used for. Presumably, one of them will function as an on/off button.
Some time ago, analyst Ming-Chi Guo reported that Apple's VR headset will be equipped with 15 cameras for tracking and collecting biometric data. Eight cameras will be used to project images into the real world. Six cameras are used for biometrics and the last camera is used for environmental detection. Apple also seems to want to equip its headset with a cooling device to prevent overheating. Finally, this standalone headset will come with a built-in battery.
Apple's first headset is expected to come out in 2022. This mixed reality headset won't be cheap. Online, there is news that the possible retail price is around $3,000. Although there are still few details about the price, it is clear that this is a high-end device aimed at niche markets. Apple VR/AR headset will be followed by Apple Glasses, Apple's first AR glasses, which is expected to be launched as soon as 2023.
