Age of Empires 4 Civilization Introduction: Rose

The Rus' were skilled hunters and excelled at wild hunting. With the support of their powerful cavalry, they expanded their territory and became more powerful.

In Age of Empires 4, the Rus' civilization tells the story of a new empire that prospered in the grip of powerful rivals in 882-1552 AD. They have withstood destructive invasions, political instability, and bitter cold, and have become increasingly indestructible in the battle for survival. They were masters of hunting, trade, and wooden architecture; led by their leaders, they were determined to rebuild the empire in Moscow.

Age of Empires 4 takes you through four epochs to appreciate Rus' civilization: in Ep. 1, Rus was influenced by the traditional Slavs, Normans, and Nordics; in Ep. 2, the Golden Age of Rus was influenced by the Byzantine Empire; in Ep. 3, it declined under the influence of the Mongols; and in Ep. 4, the Duchy of Moscow rose.

Ross's hunting lodges produce stable gold; Ross has a unique hunting points system that allows you to kill any animal; as the number of points increases, the amount of food collected and the gold output of the hunting lodge increases.

The Roses were strong in defense early in the game, and they had more powerful fences to replace the earlier walls. Rose has been able to train knights, build wooden forts, and improve outposts with unique upgrades from Time 2 onwards.
