Hibiscus out of the water, why hinder the wind, and the wind is still chaotic; the lily covers the wall, the rain is difficult to invade, and the dense rain should be obliquely invaded. Creative background

The poem was composed in the autumn of 815 AD (Emperor Xianzong of Tang and the tenth year) in Liuzhou. Liu Zongyuan, along with Han Tae, Han Ye, Chen Chen, and Liu Yuxi, were all belittled for participating in the Yongzhen Reform Movement led by Wang Shuwen.
