In a recent blog post by Blizzard, Wyatt Cheng, game director of Diablo: Immortal, said that the game is still scheduled to be available in 2022, and the team will make some improvements and tweaks to social mechanics, in-game purchase mechanisms, controller support, and other aspects based on player feedback in closed tests.
Based on player feedback, Blizzard adjusted the game's daily bounty system to make it a single player mode. However, the official still wants players to play in teams, so the game's Warbands system has been modified to support up to 8 players.
Diablo Immortal includes paid content such as Battle Passes, and the team is currently working on adding additional microtransactions to the game.
