Blue Whale TMT Channel, February 25, China Telecom announced that in view of the downside of the American Depositary Shares and the termination of the American Depositary Share Plan, the Company intends to file Form 15F with the American Securities Exchange on the date of this announcement to cancel the registration of the American Depositary Shares and terminate its reporting obligations under the Securities exchange act of 1934 (as amended). Unless the Company withdraws or the SEC rejects the application, the application for cancellation and termination of the reporting obligation will take effect ninety days after the submission of the form.
