The reporter learned that Xiao Junyong was born in Guangxi, was a premature baby, lived in an incubator as soon as he was born, and was later diagnosed by doctors as "severe cholestasis". She took the baby to a number of hospitals to seek medical treatment, not only the symptoms did not ease, Xiao Junyong's stomach gradually bulged. Eventually, Xiao Junyong was diagnosed with "chronic liver failure", and liver transplantation became the only option that could save his life. After many consultations, Xiao Junyong's mother contacted the pediatric liver transplant team of West China Hospital of Sichuan University.
"Golden body", height, weight and nutritional status are worse than children of the same age... When he was admitted to the pediatric ICU ward of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Xiao Junyong suffered from liver failure, resulting in cholestasis, high bilirubin, coagulation disorders, etc., accompanied by many problems such as shortness of breath.
The child's condition is critical, but there has been no suitable liver source. In order to save the child's life, Xiao Junyong's mother decided to cut the liver to save her son: "The first hospitalization, in order to give birth to you; the second hospitalization, in order to save you." ”
On November 20, 2021, Xiao Junyong's mother underwent endoscopic minimally invasive donor liver resection surgery; Xiao Junyong also completed the "allophyrate parent liver transplantation" operation.
