25 Feb (Taiwan Straits Herald reporter Wang Longxiang correspondent Guo Mingmu Wen/Photo) Some of the records collected by Mr. Guo of Longhai Shima have attracted the attention of the "Chinese Dialect" column group of the CCTV documentary channel, and a film crew has been specially sent to Shima to shoot a feature film.
On February 23, herald reporters saw these records at Mr. Guo's home, which read "Chinese phonograph film Chinese unified preparatory meeting broadcast investigator Zhao Yuanren pronunciation" and other words, a total of 30 albums.
Mr. Guo introduced that by chance, he accidentally collected several special records, which were recorded by Zhao Yuanren, the "father of modern Chinese linguistics", in 1921 to promote the then Chinese Chinese. In the following ten years, Mr. Guo successively collected a number of sets of different versions of the "Chinese Phonograph" pronounced by Zhao Yuanren.
On October 27, 2018, Mr. Guo was invited to participate in the "Second Symposium on the Theory and Application of Chinese Audiovisual Teaching and The Research on Chinese Teaching Innovation in the Digital Environment of New Media" jointly sponsored by the Chinese School of Beijing Second Chinese University of Foreign Languages, Beijing Language and Culture University Press, and the Editorial Department of International Chinese Language Teaching Research, at which Mr. Guo made a speech on "Interpretation of the Archived Audiomophone of Chinese Teaching in the Republic of China Period".
On February 22, the "Chinese Dialect" column team arrived at Shima for a four-day shooting, in addition to filming Mr. Guo's collection of Zhao Yuanren records and the restoration and digitization of the records, it will also tell the history of the collection and introduce some historical cultures of the ancient town of Shima. The series of documentaries "Chinese Dialect" is a key project of the Central Radio and Television Corporation, and has been listed by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee as the main project of the "Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture Inheritance Project", with a total of 7 episodes. This time, the stone code line will be one of the episodes, which is scheduled to be broadcast on CCTV this year.
Zhao Yuanren, a descendant of the famous Qing Dynasty poet Zhao Yi, born in Tianjin in 1892, is a famous modern scholar, linguist and musician. He taught at Cornell University, Harvard University, Tsinghua University in China, etc., and died in Massachusetts in 1982.
Zhao Yuanren is known as the "father of modern Chinese linguistics", but also the pioneer of modern Chinese musicology, representative works in linguistics include: "Modern Wu Language Research", "Grammar of Chinese Dialect", "Chinese Phonograph Textbook", "Ji Ji Hit the Chicken", etc., and the representative works in music include: "Teach Me How Not to Miss Her", "Hai Yun", "Xiamen University School Song" and so on.
