A "Shi Zhongshan Record" is popular among the population, and a thousand years ago, how did Su Shi enter the mountain by boat? Was Shizhongshan the same at that time as it is now? Yang Chiyu, an octogenarian at Hukou, hand-painted the "Northern Song Dynasty Su Shi Inspected the Restoration Of Shizhong Mountain", which reproduced the scene of the ancient Chinese classic with a delicate brushwork.
Ancient Exploration
The picture in front of you does not have the poetry of freehand landscapes, but like a modern "sand table": the peaks are lined up, outlining a bay in the ancient Poyang Lake. The name of each mountain, the distribution of the courtyard temples, and the transportation of the stranger jumped on the paper.
For most of his life, Yang Chiyu has been studying Shizhongshan, he was previously engaged in art design and ancient garden work in the Shizhongshan Scenic Area, and after retirement, he also insisted on studying the history of Hukou and the culture of Shizhongshan. This time, he painted the "Northern Song Dynasty Su Shi Inspection Shi Zhongshan Restoration Map" and "Qing Dynasty Hukou County Map", hoping to tell the ancient history through the way of pictures, so that more people know the "secret" of Shi Zhongshan.
And it is loud on the water, and it is like a bell and drum. Boat people are terrified. Xu erzhi, then the bottom of the mountain are all stone caves, do not know its shallow depth, microwave into the depth, the implication is surging and for this reason also ..." In that year, Su Shi came to Shizhong Mountain in search of ancient times, and the strange sound, and the tree shadow birds in the mountains and forests, frightened a generation of great literary heroes "heartbroken", but suddenly "the boat returned to the two mountains, will enter the port, there are large stones in the middle of the stream, can sit a hundred people, in the air and many tricks, and feng shui swallowed..." The sound was originally these strange stones.
Yang Chiyu said that the place described by Su Shi in "The Record of Shi Zhongshan" is not the Lower Stone Bell Mountain that everyone goes to now, but the Upper Stone Bell Mountain, which is 1200 meters apart, he said: "If people want to hear this sound today, they must meet several conditions, which is very harsh. First of all, it must be in the summer and autumn seasons, otherwise there is no water into the cave, the altitude water level must be between 14 meters and 18 meters, the water is too high will flood the hole; there must be two or three winds, otherwise there can be no waves, it cannot resonate; there must be a boat sent to the cave to listen; finally it must be at night when there is a moon, otherwise it is dark, and the water flow during the flood period is very fast, and it is easy to hit the rock reef. ”
Yang Chiyu said that he had heard such a sound when he was a child because he went to Poyang Lake to get water, but unfortunately he did not know the rare points of it because of his young age. Why could Su Dongpo hear such a voice back then? Originally there was a West Bay Lake under The Upper Stone Bell Mountain, because of the unique location, even if the big waves in Poyang Lake rolled over, the lake here was still calm, and the beautiful sound heard by Su Dongpo's night boating was heard here, and in 2008, he sailed here again, not only heard the strange sound of Su Dongpo's second return, but also drew the "Northern Song Dynasty Su Dongpo Moon Night Boating on the Shizhongshan West Bay Lake Schematic Map".
The stone sings
Yang Chiyu, who grew up at the West Gate of Hukou, is destined to have an indissoluble relationship with Shi Zhongshan. When he was a child, Shi Zhongshan was his "amusement park", writing homework here every day, reading books here, and playing here. And then after twenty years of going around, he came back here and dedicated most of his life to it.
At the age of 18, he loved literature, singing, and opera, and was assigned to the Nanchang Repertory Theater, and due to the reduction of the reform personnel of the unit, he was assigned to work in the provincial library, and he who loved to read books also began to come into contact with various literature, history books, archaeology and other works from this time, and also laid the foundation for his future work in Shi Zhongshan. Until 1982, he was assigned to Shi zhongshan to work in art design and ancient garden construction, which was most of his life.
Many of the appearances of Shi Zhongshan that everyone sees now are designed and planned through his own hands. In the 1980s, he found a natural ringing stone, and with a flick of his hand, it made a metallic sound, and he quickly collected it. In the decades that followed, he collected more than a hundred ringing stones near ShizhongShan. In 2001, he founded the Ringstone Art Museum in the ShizhongShan Scenic Area.
Yang Chiyu said: "The earliest discovery of the Stone Bell Mountain Ringing Stone is the ancestors of the Xiaoyang Clan in the ancient Sanmiao tribe that settled on the ShizhongShan, the Xiaoyang Tribe retreated to the Poyang Lake area after being defeated by the Yellow Emperor, and when making stone tools on The Stone Bell Mountain, it was found that the Ringing Stone could make a strange sound, and at that time the Ringing Stone was used as entertainment and sacrifice to the gods. At the same time, the pottery fan and bronze fragments excavated from the ancient cultural site of Shizhongshan prove that in the Western Zhou Dynasty, Shizhongshan was the source of bronze bells, and there is a saying of bells. ”
Passed down through the generations with paintings
Regarding Shi Zhongshan, Yang Chiyu has endless stories and research, and many books have been published in authoritative academic journals. Having long since passed the retirement age, he still insisted on coming to Shizhongshan every day. "No matter how many cultural relics there are, they are dead, and their significance for studying the development of the peoples and tribes in the lake mouth is alive." This is one of the reasons why he insisted on studying archaeology.
Years of work and life, let him write a lot of manuscripts on the historical research of Hukou and Shizhongshan, but for various reasons, it was not published, "I think it is a pity," he said, "I hope that through the form of painting, so that everyone can understand this history more intuitively." ”
For so many years, he still insisted on reading books, writings, and painstakingly studying archaeology every day, and now he has become a part of Shi Zhongshan.
