Xue Feng, director of a major memorial hall of the COMMUNIST Party of China, said that the people's demand for appreciating red art works has been continuously improved, which has put forward new requirements for museums and memorials to collect classic works, tell the story of party history, and explain the spirit of the times. In accordance with the requirements of the creation of major historical themes, the "Red in Art" art creation project will select historical events with grand themes and far-reaching intentions, collect outstanding theme art works for the whole society, and use artistic language to tell the historical journey of the Communist Party of China in unity and leadership of the Chinese people.
According to reports, the first batch of 25 groups of themes of the creative project include "Heavenly Dynasty Dream Shattered / Shenzhou Lu Shen", "Open Eyes to see the world / Forward to succeed", "Shouting Nation / Suffering China", "Blowing the Horn of the New Cultural Movement / Enlightenment", "May Fourth Wind and Thunder / Wild Surge / Great Awakening" and so on.
