In order to inherit and carry forward the art of Chinese calligraphy, improve cultural literacy, earnestly do a good job in the ideological and moral construction of minors, and promote the healthy growth and all-round development of minors, on February 21, the "Care Workshop for Minors" in Xiliugou Community relied on the New Era Civilization Practice Station to carry out calligraphy classroom activities.
Before the event, volunteers from the "Social Work Committee" prepared calligraphy supplies such as brushes, ink, and paper for the minors. The volunteers first explained to the children the development process of calligraphy, writing posture, penmanship, basic pen handling methods and other knowledge. Subsequently, some basic strokes are demonstrated on the spot, and the basic methods of writing are explained. In the process of teaching calligraphy, the children concentrated on watching the teacher's pen demonstration and copying it one by one. Finally, the calligraphy teacher gave each child a piece of ink with their own name written on it.
This activity not only enriched the winter vacation life of minors in the community, but also allowed the children to recognize and understand the traditional culture of the mainland, promote the healthy growth of children, and create a good community education atmosphere.
