Qi Guangpu recalled that when he first trained in the air, due to insufficient control, he only completed half a lap of action and plunged into the snow pile.

As early as 1992, Changchun became one of the first cities to carry out freestyle skiing aerial skills sports. This project pays attention to physical conditions and skill quality, so from Jiangsu, which has the foundation of gymnastics and skill sports, the "good seedlings" are selected to changchun training, forming a complementary advantage across the domestic ice and snow territory.

Qi Guangpu is one of them. But when he first came into contact with ice and snow sports, he was also "unsatisfied with the soil and water".
