Yesterday, February 19, the International Association and Alliance of Metaverse in Medicine (IAMM) was officially established in Shanghai.

The founding conference of the Meta-Universe Medical Association and Alliance was co-chaired by Zhu Zhaoying, expert of the National Artificial Intelligence Standards General Group, Chen Rongchang, director of the Shenzhen Institute of Respiratory Diseases of Shenzhen People's Hospital, Song Zhenju, director of the Scientific Research Office and deputy director of the Emergency Department of Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, and Song Yuanlin, director of the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine of Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, as co-chairs and delivered speeches. The existing Internet medical treatment cannot allow field experts to guide doctors with less experience and control the quality of clinical care throughout the time and space. Among the goals set by the Conference, metasymology will be able to solve these problems.
But for the majority of medical people, what exactly is the metacosm? Why did it make Musk bitterly criticized, Zuckerberg fascinated? Isn't the metacosm really not a mere concept hype? Can this alliance be useful? The answers to these questions would be more realistic.
Is Metascopic Medical Reliable?
The metacosm is a concept that comes from science fiction. The content of the telescopic medical operation included in the meta-universe medical alliance is actually closer to the previously said Internet of Things medical treatment, and it is highly feasible from the level of technical implementation that we know so far. The advantage for ordinary medical people is that if the meta-cosmic medical treatment proposed by the Alliance can really be realized, then the opportunity to learn from the big guys in essence will be greatly increased.
