Rape flowers, apricot blossoms, and plum blossoms bloom vigorously, outlining a pastoral scenery of bright spring and competition for all things.
The Hakka proverb says: "The rain hits the lamp bowl, and the morning grass has a pole; the rain hits the Lantern, and the morning grass breaks the waist." That is to say, if the rain festival comes to the Lantern Festival, the early rice harvest must be in sight; if it rains after the Lantern Festival, the early rice may not be harvested well, but the grass stalks will not be seen.
In Meizhou Hakka, there is a custom of eating spring shoots during the rainy season. Spring shoots not only taste delicious, but also have a certain therapeutic and health care effect, known as "Mountain Eight Treasures".
