Urban development, transportation first. Jinan is bordered by the Yellow River in the north, Taishan Mountain in the south, and is a strip city with a narrow east and west. At present, the development of east and west is basically saturated, which also brings many problems, such as smog, traffic congestion, etc., and if you go north, you have to cross the Yellow River. On September 29 this year, the Jinan Yellow River Jiluo Road Tunnel was officially completed and opened to traffic, which connects the main urban area and the sub-center of Jibei, and cars and subways can pass through the yellow at the same time, thus creating an era when the Yellow River graben crosses from water to underwater.

Jinan Yellow River Jiluo Road Tunnel has a total length of 4760 meters, the main line section adopts a double-pipe double-layer tunnel, the upper layer is a two-way six-lane municipal road, the design speed is 60 km / h, and the lower layer is rail transit and smoke exhaust channels, pipe corridors and escape channels. Driving through this tunnel can cross the Yellow River in about 5 minutes, saving nearly an hour compared to the previous detour to the Jinan Yellow River Bridge. Moreover, compared with the existing pontoon bridges and Yellow River bridges in Jinan, the tunnels are less affected by weather and seasons, which also opens a new page for the development of Jinan's river.

In the exhibition hall of Jinan's "Four Bridges and Four Tunnels" cross-yellow channel project, a reporter from China Economic Network saw that including the Jinan Yellow River Jiluo Road Tunnel, Jinan has started construction of the Jinan Yellow River Huanggang Road Tunnel, The Jile Expressway South Extension Project and other "Four Bridges and Four Sui". After the completion of the "Four Bridges and Four Sui" project, a new cross-Yellow Transportation Network will be built.

Building the "City of the Future"

The main urban area of Jinan is located on the south bank of the Yellow River, and daming lake in the city is a well-known attraction, so the previous development is called "Daming Lake Era". In April this year, the State Council approved the implementation plan for the construction of Jinan's new and old kinetic energy conversion starting area, officially opening a new chapter in Jinan's construction of new and old kinetic energy conversion starting area and promoting high-quality development.
