According to the report, this case occurred in November 2018, the victim was a staff member of the movie "Running Horse", when the crew was scheduled to hold a work meeting, but Niu Chengze temporarily cancelled the meeting for some reason and invited friends to the home party instead, when the victim was also present. The victim immediately called his roommate for help, and when the roommate learned of it, he immediately took the victim to the Maternal and Child Branch of Taipei Municipal United Hospital to report the injury after examination.
When the court of first instance tried, Niu Chengze not only denied committing the crime, but also argued that the two sides were in agreement and compensated the victim with NT$2 million, but did not obtain the other party's forgiveness, Niu Chengze was sentenced to 4 years in prison, and when the case was appealed to the "High Court", Niu Chengze also refused to admit guilt, and even summoned new witnesses to testify in court, but the testimony of the new witnesses did not play a role, the "High Court" still found Niu Chengze guilty and upheld the original judgment, Niu Chengze appealed to the "Supreme Court" against the judgment, but the "Supreme Court" believed that he had no remorse after committing the crime , uphold the original judgment, reject his appeal, and the whole case was decided.
