Today, I would like to talk to you about another century-old hotel - Suzhou Songhe Tower. Songhe Tower, founded in the 22nd year of Qianlong (1757) in Suzhou Xuanmiao Temple, mainly engaged in noodles and food sales, has a history of more than 260 years. Because of the longevity of Songhe, it was named Songhe Tower. Songhe Tower is the oldest and most famous Subang restaurant in Suzhou, the cradle of Subang chefs, and the first batch of recognized long-established restaurant brands, often seen in movies and literary works. In 2007, Mr. Jin Yong returned to the Songhe Tower, and after tasting the Su Bang cuisine, he wrote the inscription "A century-old shop, which is always new, such as Pine Evergreen, like a crane adding life". Songhe Tower dishes with superior ingredients, different seasons, according to the material, fine cooking, pay attention to the heat, fresh and sweet and delicious, and Wu Di gentle and graceful, exquisite and elegant style complement each other, squirrel cinnamon fish, Qingxi River shrimp, Gusu brine duck are the specialties of Songhe Tower.
