Biography

Ma Zhitu, male, real name Ma Qianmu, born in January 1915 in Zhong County, Chongqing, is a contemporary Chinese writer, poet and calligrapher, together with Ba Jin, Zhang Xiushu, Sha Ting, ai Wu and known as the "Five Elders of Shuzhong", author of "Qingjiang Zhuang Song", "Ten Years of Vicissitudes", "Underground", "Ten Memories of Night Tan".
