"The Big Bang Theory" Penny officially filed for divorce, which is the second divorce

Carle Tsoko formally filed the divorce papers with Carl Cook.

According to records viewed by Fox News, Carly Soko filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday. The same day she filed for divorce, she and Cook announced in a joint statement that they had decided to divorce after a three-year marriage.

The statement began: "Although we love each other deeply and respect each other, we realize that our current path has taken us in the opposite direction. We've all been public about a lot of our own experiences, so while we'd rather keep this aspect of our private lives private, we want to be honest about our truth together. There is no anger or hostility, quite the opposite. ”

They concluded in the statement: "We made this decision together on the basis of mutual respect and consideration. We hope you will do the same, understanding that we will not share any further details or further comments. ”

Carly Tsoko, 35, who played Penny in The Big Bang Theory, and Cook, 30, celebrated their third anniversary in June, sharing photos of each other on Instagram.

"On June 30, 2016, we met in New York. We've been married for 3 years now! Why have you been married to me for so long! I was really touched @mrtankcook, haha, I love you, oh, you don't know... Happy Anniversary!" Kare Tsoko wrote at the time.

Cook wrote in his post: "I agree with @kaleycuoco, and I'm also surprised that three years have passed and it feels like it's just a moment. I love you so much I can't wait another million years!!"

Carrey Tsoko and Cook began dating in 2016 and became engaged the following year. On June 30, 2018, they married in San Diego, California.

Carey Tsoko had previously been married to Ryan Sweeting, but divorced three years later.
