Establish goals It is recommended to reduce body weight by 5% to 15% or more as the goal of weight management, in order to improve insulin resistance, hyperglycemia, hypertension, dyslipidemia and other metabolic abnormalities, and reduce the risk of multiple overweight or obesity-related diseases such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, metabolism-related fatty liver disease, polycystic ovary syndrome and so on.
