On February 16, Land Rover's new Range Rover model officially opened pre-sale in China today, and the new car will be officially released on March 29 and launched at the Beijing Auto Show, which opens in April.
The new Range Rover pre-sale launched a total of two models, namely the 3.0T Range Rover Model Extended Edition with a pre-sale price of 2.0988 million yuan and the 4.4T Range Rover premiere version with a pre-sale price of 2.5188 million yuan.
As a classic model of Land Rover, the new generation of Range Rover models was first released overseas in October last year and will be imported into China in the future.
The new Range Rover is based on the latest MLA-FLEX architecture, retaining classic elements in terms of appearance and more stylish upgrades in detail. From the silhouette of the entire front, it can still be seen that it is a Range Rover series model, with a flatter mid-mesh style, and the internal light cavity shape of the new LED light group has been upgraded. The front enveloping shape has also been redesigned, with a penetrating silver trim strip at the bottom.
The side of the body is still designed with a straight waistline, the sunken roof and the recognizable inclined D-pillar are retained, and the length of the extended version of the model of more than 5.2 meters still has a great size advantage in this level. In addition, the first version will be equipped with 23-inch wheels and a twilight gold matte finish.
The rear of the new Range Rover has become cleaner, which is the biggest controversy since the launch of the new car. The new LED tail light source is hidden in the black "trim strip" at the rear, blending in with the entire rear of the car. Some people think that although this design has added a lot of fashion sense, there are also views that the usual aura of Range Rover has weakened, and the transformation of "local tycoon" to "hipster" has been carried out.
The interior has also become a minimalist style, and the new environmentally friendly materials and wood grain and aluminum alloy materials have been combined to enhance the texture of the car. The center console has been replaced by a new 13.7-inch Pivi Pro HD curved multimedia display and is equipped with the latest InControl OS 2.0 vehicle system.
In front of the driver, equipped with a new shape of four steering wheels and 13.1-inch LCD instruments, the layout near the gear area has also changed, and the knob shift of the current model has been replaced by a new electronic gear.
In terms of power, the first version and the model extended version of the model model launched first are equipped with 4.4T V8 engines and 3.0T six-cylinder engines respectively, with maximum power of 530 hp and 400 hp, and peak torques of 750N·m and 550N·m, respectively. In terms of drivetrain, it matches the 8-speed manual transmission and is equipped with a four-wheel drive system with advanced dynamic response system.
