This poem "Sending Yuan Er Envoy Anxi", also known as "Weicheng Qu", also called "Yangguan Sandian", is a representative work of the great poet Wang Wei of the Tang Dynasty.
Why is it also called "Weicheng Qu"? Because this poem was so famous at that time, it was quickly composed, so it became "Weicheng Qu".
Why is it also called "Yangguan Triassic"? Because when singing "Weicheng Song", the second, third and fourth sentences should overlap three songs, and some people say that the overlapping three songs should be the last sentence "West out of Yangguan no reason", as for which is right, now I don't know. In the Tang Dynasty, the Anxi Capital Protectorate was not counted as the interior, and it was relatively far away to work there, and the boundary between the interior and Anxi was in Yangguan, which is today's Dunhuang area, and there were two passes near Dunhuang, in addition to Yangguan, there was also a pass that always appeared in Tang poetry, that is, Yumen Pass. The west exited Yangguan or Yumen Pass and entered the area of the Anxi Capital Protectorate. So, who is the "Yuan Two" in the poem title? Some people say that it is Yuan Chang, and he is the second oldest in the family. It is actually quite common to be named like this, such as Bai Juyi's "Ask Liu Nineteen".

"West out of Yangguan without reason", from Weicheng to Yangguan, the transformation of space, very artistic imagination. Out of Yangguan, it is no longer a place of Han culture, but a foreign culture, and it is not easy to meet old friends at that time. So, what to do? That would be "a greater glass of wine".
Chang'an, Weicheng, Yangguan, Anxi, a few strokes outline the vastness of space, and in such a distant space image, but reveal the complexity of friendship: friends want to work in Anxi, for friends is a new beginning, so to write "Weicheng morning rain", to write "green willow color"; but farewell is always reluctant, rather than saying that the friend Yuan Er "west out of Yangguan no reason", it is better to say that Wang Wei himself can not see Yuan Er, so what to do? Wang Wei's poems have always been relatively diluted, and the farewell poems have no sorrow and no happiness, and it is this dilution that writes the typical feeling of sending off, and the poetry travels through time to modern times, which still makes us very moved.
