On February 15, the Lantern Festival of the 15th lunar month of the Chinese lunar calendar coincided with the beijing Winter Olympics. On the same day, Zhangjiakou, the "City of the Winter Olympics", held the "New Year Lantern Festival" Winter Olympics theme lantern riddle exhibition guessing meeting.

At the event site, hundreds of red lanterns formed a riddle matrix. More than 300 lantern puzzle artists have recently created nearly 1,000 riddles of the Winter Olympics and encyclopedia themes, attracting citizens and tourists to speculate. The atmosphere was warm and full of laughter.

"Zhangjiakou Lantern Riddle" is the intangible cultural heritage of Zhangjiakou City. During the Kangxi Dynasty of the Qing Dynasty, Zhangjiakou had a record of lantern riddle annual customs. (Text/Xiao Guangming Photo/Cen Yi)
