Bai Haotian, director and producer of the National Theatre of China, graduated from the Directing Department of the Shanghai Theater Academy, and his recent works include "Common Home", "Gu Wenchang" and "Hero Era".
In May 2018, the National Drama Theatre and the Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Shenzhen and inaugurated the establishment of a police-civilian relationship construction creative practice base. At this signing ceremony, Bai Haotian was appointed as the image spokesperson for the construction of police-community relations in the Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau. As a literary and art worker and a drama director, he said that he would give full play to his professional advantages, take public security as the theme, excavate the story of Shenzhen public security, and create a public security drama work that audiences across the country like to hear.
In order to more truly show the work and living conditions of public security cadres and policemen, Bai Haotian went to grass-roots police stations many times in Shenzhen and surrounding areas to conduct on-site inspections and observe and record the work status of the people's police. In order to create a real and credible public security cadre and police figure, he also visited some public security workers' families to collect the cold and warm stories behind the police, through listening to and understanding the stories of the police, to the police to collect style and experience life, Bai Hao innocently felt the sweat and dedication behind the people's police.
After nearly three years of preparation and preparation, "The Age of Heroes" was officially recorded at the National Theatre of China in April 2021. In Bai Haotian's view, when the police put on the police uniform, they shouldered the responsibility of "the people's police for the people", they faced the violence with their bodies, used their profession to relieve the danger, ensured the peace of the people on the one side, and protected the social security of the country. But when they take off their police uniforms, they may be ordinary people around us in life. In the face of danger, they are also afraid, but responsibility and responsibility make them choose to overcome their inner fears, to face the evil forces and criminals, and to protect the people.
"'Age of Heroes' tells a little-known story about the work and life of public security officers." Bai Haotian said, "Showing the heroic image of the people's police and praising the heroes is the original intention of this work. Although it is the main theme drama, in the process of creation, Bai Haotian boldly adopted the new form of "drama + film and television", making "Hero Age" the first high-definition video drama of the National Drama Theatre, and at the same time taking the way of synchronizing drama time and life time, through the dual expression of stage and lens, creating a real and full police image. Every vivid character in the play is the epitome of the thousands of policemen who stick to their posts in real life.

Synopsis
