I am a farmer, on the agricultural university, now dry agricultural technology promotion, I am not in favor of personal large investment in dry agriculture, at least I did not see a few money-making around, loss of money cooperatives, family farms accounted for 80%, a few big bosses basically because of illegal absorption of public deposits into it, a loss of millions of bosses more to go.
Why is agriculture so hard to do? Because of the sky to eat, open-air factories, the risk is uncontrollable. A heavy rain, a night of strong wind, a heavy snow can make your years of hard work into slag, I have seen the coal boss planted 5,000 acres of rice because of 20 days of continuous rain and only harvested 1,800 acres, I have also seen the boss of more than 10,000 chickens because of the collapse of the snow chicken coop and kneel and cry, and I have also seen thousands of acres of white ploughing on the spot.
The cultivation of the agricultural industry market is not perfect, there are few professional talents, and the spirit of contract in rural areas is insufficient. Producers of agricultural products have no say in their products. Grain purchases, vegetables and fruits are basically the final say of the middle dealers, and the fate cannot be controlled.
There are few agricultural professionals who understand both management and the market, unlike industrial products, the division of labor in the industry is more mature, the head enterprise leads obviously, the degree of standardization is high, the talent grows fast, and the income is high. Agricultural enterprises have low profits, low professional market activity, low incomes for employees, and poor attractiveness to talents.
At the same time, general agricultural industry entrants have insufficient agricultural risk assessment, are too optimistic about investment prospects, are not prepared for agricultural projects, cannot tell stories, do not have good information, do not do financial planning well, and cannot grasp policies.
Therefore, it is not easy to do agriculture, and those who are still insisting on doing agriculture are worthy of respect, because they carry the weight forward, and we have rice in the rice tank and vegetable baskets.
