The Sand Monk and the Eight Precepts of the Pig are also from prominent backgrounds, the Eight Precepts of the Pig is the Marshal of the Canopy, and the Sand Monk is the Rolling Curtain General, however, the two have very different attitudes towards Sun Wukong.
In front of Sun Wukong, the Eight Precepts of the Pig often act spontaneously, calling Sun Wukong a monkey brother when he is happy, calling monkey monkeys without anger when he is unhappy, and sometimes even calling him "damn Bow Ma Wen".
On the other hand, sha monk, he was respectful in front of Sun Wukong, always respectfully called Sun Wukong master brother, never dared to scold Sun Wukong, did not dare to say a word.
So, why did the Eight Precepts of the Pig dare to scold Sun Wukong, but the sand monk did not dare to say a word?
Some people believe that the reason why the sand monk did not dare to scold Sun Wukong was related to his work in the heavenly court.

The sand monk officials paid homage to the rolling curtain general, who accompanied the Jade Emperor and was responsible for the guard work of the Jade Emperor, equivalent to the commander of the Royal Forest Army.
Companions are like companion tigers, one is careless, and one's life is difficult to protect. The sand monks who have been with the Jade Emperor for a long time have long formed a rigorous character style, treating people carefully, never speaking randomly, never doing anything randomly, such a person will naturally not act rashly like the Eight Precepts of the Pig and insult Sun Wukong.
There is some truth to this statement, however, if you follow the Jade Emperor for a long time, will you definitely form a cautious style?
There is also a case where the so-called caution is only cautious with the superior, and the treatment of the peer or subordinate may also be very arrogant. How many of the little red people around the leaders will treat ordinary colleagues as humble and cautious as service leaders?
Therefore, sha monk has been a roller blind general, which is not necessarily the reason why he does not dare to scold Sun Wukong.
The reason why sha monks were respectful in front of Sun Wukong and never made any mistakes in speech was probably related to the real reason why he was demoted to mortals in the past?
Why was the sand monk degraded? Ostensibly, it was because the glass cup was broken at the peach feast. However, the glass glass is just a glassware, how much can it be worth? Why did it lead to the disgrace of the Grand Curtain?
There is a view that the reason why the sand monks are degraded is not because of how precious the glass cup is, but because the things contained in the glass cup are precious.
What's in the glass? Peach juice. Because the number of immortals participating in the peach feast was large, and the number of peaches was limited, the Queen Mother had to squeeze the peach juice and put it in a glass cup, so as to ensure that all the immortals who attended the feast could eat the peach.
The sand monk smashed the glass cup, causing the peach juice inside the cup to fall, and the Jade Emperor was of course furious and severely punished.
There is also some truth to this statement, however, there must be more than one glass cup containing the peach juice, there may be dozens or hundreds, or even more, but the sand monk just broke a glass cup by mistake, why was he degraded?
The above statements should only be the superficial reasons for the demotion of sha monk, and the real reason may be that he made a mistake in speech.
What is the phrase that the sand monk often hangs on his lips when he is a roller blind general? It should be--I am honored in the South Heavenly Gate, and I am called in front of the Lingxiao Hall. Even after being degraded, the sand monk did not put this sentence on his lips.
Sha Monk's original intention should have been to show off that he was the commander of the Imperial Forest Army, but what would the Jade Emperor think when he heard it? You are respected in the South Heavenly Gate, and have you ever put the decay in your eyes?
A security captain actually dared to respect himself in front of the leader, could the leader not want to remove him?
However, the Jade Emperor was not in a position to openly punish the sand monk's sins by means of speech, and it just so happened that the sand monk had broken the glass cup with his hand, so he used this as an excuse to demote him to the mortal world.
Sha Monk can achieve the high position of the Rolling Curtain General, of course, he is a wise man, it is impossible not to know the real reason why he was degraded, because of this, he no longer dares to speak at will, so he rarely speaks on the way to the scriptures, and he does not dare to insult Sun Wukong like the Eight Precepts of the Pig.
