According to the official micro-news of Changying Group, Zhang Puren, a retired cadre of the Anti-Japanese War, an old artist of Changying and a director of translation and production, died of illness on January 20, 2019, at the age of 99.

Born in 1920 in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, Zhang Pu joined the Shanghai Kunlun Film Company in 1947 and joined the Cultural and Labor Troupe of North China University in 1948. He joined the Party in 1955.

 

In September 1949, Zhang Puren, Xiang Junshu, Li Jingchao, Bai Jingsheng, Di Shixun, Peng Bo, Che Xuan, Zhao Shuangcheng and other literary and artistic backbones of North China University were transferred to Dongying (the predecessor of Changying) and engaged in the initial creation of new Chinese translation and production.

Zhang Puren's directing works include the translation and production of "Wanderer (Part 1, Part II) ( India) " Conquering Berlin " ( Soviet Union ) " National Hero Yuraev " ( Soviet Union ) " Cultivating Courage " ( Soviet Union ) " " " Taleman Biography ( Part 1 ) ( GDR ) , as well as feature films " Mango Song " and opera " Three Dozen Tao Three Springs " .
