The Bentley brand has launched the Mulliner Black Kit for the Continental GT and Continental GT Convertible Editions, further meeting customers' high expectations for a modern and exclusive style. Mulliner, Bentley Automotive's personalisation division, replaced the original body chrome trim with a black kit, further enriching the configuration options for the ultra-luxury sports travel car that stands out for its peers.
Compared with the current Continental GTMulliner and Continental GT Mulliner Convertible models, the models with the Optional Mulliner Black Kit are more recognizable and modern aesthetics. The kit is highly appreciated by customers, with around 40% of Bentley customers choosing the kit design when purchasing the Continental GT.
In addition to Bentley's signature double-wing "B" logo, the polished trims and radiator grille bezel are designed in black; the vehicle's rearview mirrors are designed with a bright beluga design, replacing the unique matte silver design of the Continental GT Mulliner hardtop and convertible version; and the iconic Mulliner matrix side vents are also in black color schemes and decorated with the distinctive word "Mulliner" The lower bumper grille and radiator grille with 3D design remain black, with the latter complemented by glossy trim.
The Mulliner Black Kit offers 22-inch black painted wheels with a self-correcting logo with chrome trim. In addition, the Bentley brand will soon introduce a black Mulliner wheel with a contrasting polished design.
In terms of interior, models equipped with the Mulliner Black Kit offer customers a wide range of interior options, including leather material selection, stitching colors, and eight three-color color schemes.
The Mulliner Driving Specification includes a "double diamond" quilted texture that adorns the seats, doors, and rear roof side panels. In addition, Bentley craftsmen have introduced contrasting stitching into the quilted texture design. The luxurious cockpit is handcrafted by Bentley artisans and contains nearly 400,000 stitches of delicate stitching. Each diamond pattern is made of 712 stitches, each stitch pointing to the center of the diamond, making it a perfect example of automotive craftsmanship.
The Continental GT and Continental GT Convertibles with the Mulliner Show black kit offer customers two powertrain options, including Bentley's award-winning 6.0-litre W12 engine with a maximum power of up to 635 horsepower, and a 4.0-liter V8 engine with a maximum power of 550 horsepower for surging power performance and exclusive luxury.
The introduction of the Mulliner Black Kit reinforces the Continental GT's leading position as an ultra-luxury sports travel vehicle, while providing customers with a unique and exclusive car that interprets new possibilities for ultra-luxury travel with a modern aesthetic and unique design.
