The Bulls today won 134-122 at home to the Timberwolves.
In the whole game, the Bulls had 4 players score 20+ points, including DeRozan played 38 minutes, 14 of 22 shots, 7 of 7 free throws, and had 35 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Javent Green played 31 minutes and shot 10-of-13, including 3-of-4 from three-point range, to have 23 points and four rebounds, a season-high 23 points.
Vucevic played 35 minutes, shooting 11-of-14 from the field, with 26 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Bryant White came off the bench for 29 minutes, shooting 8-of-12 from the field and 6-of-10 from three-point range, scoring 22 points and six rebounds. LaVine is out of form today, playing 37 minutes, 12 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists on 5-of-14 shooting, with four turnovers.
On the Timberwolves side, Edwards played 37 minutes, shooting 12-of-22, including 3-of-9 from three-point range and 4-of-6 from the free throw line, cutting 31 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Towns played 37 minutes, shooting 12-of-19 and scoring 27 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists.
For DeRozan, it was his fourth consecutive game to score 35 points in a single game, becoming the second player in Bulls history to do so, the last player to do so was Jordan in 1996. Comparable to Jordan, DeRozan's performance is indeed impeccable.
Since entering February, DeRozan has been a pretty good individual, scoring at least 28 points in every game, averaging 34.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.7 assists in 7 games, shooting 56.5% from the field. Unfortunately, DeRozan scored 45 and 38 points in two consecutive games.
So far this season, DeRozan has averaged 35 minutes per game and can have 27.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 5.1 assists. On the latest MVP list, DeRozan is also on the list.
DeRozan has performed so well, the saddest thing is the Lakers, who are now afraid that their intestines are all remorseful. The Lakers were expected to get DeRozan last summer, and DeRozan himself was willing to join the Lakers and thought he would go to the Lakers, but the Lakers chose Westbrook and gave up DeRozan. DeRozan is now performing very well, but Wei Shao is difficult to say, and the Lakers can't trade Wei Shao if they want to.
